Carole Kaufmann, wife of SK Anthony Kaufmann, will be the guest speaker at the Knights of Columbus Social to be held April 13, 2012 at the Ritz Charles.

Carole is a Docent at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, holds a Masters Degree in Art History and taught 42 years in the public school system before retirement. As part of the evening’s program, Carole will entertain us with a 40 minute power-point presentation of “Early European Religious Art” found in the permanent collection at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.

Our assembly welcomed three new Sir Knights at this past weekend’s exemplification in Chesterton, Indiana.   The new Sir Knights are:

SK Ted Shay

We are well on our way to reaching our goal of 200 Sir Knights!

So are you the Sir Knight who have everything and has family that never knows what to get your for Christmas?   Well regalia makes a perfect holiday gift!

Lynch & Kelly has two new regalia packages that are on special this holiday season.

You can also request individual items, a regalia package à la carte has items that will match any price point.

Just remember to tell Santa’s elves to order early.   Capes are custom made and take 4-6 weeks.

The Master has scheduled in an Exemplification next month in Chesterton, Indiana on November 19th.   Chesterton is up in the region, but it is a one-day event.

The ceremony begins at 12:30 p.m. and is followed by a mass at 4 p.m. then dinner at 5:45.

The deadline for registration is November 5th, so if you know of a 3rd Degree Knight who is ready to take that next step please let our Faithful Navigator know so we can get his Form 4 approved in time.

To All Sir Knights, You and your spouse, or significant other, are cordially invited to attend the Assembly’s Memorial Mass to honor our deceased Sir Knights. This year we are teaming up with Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Council #12510.

Mass will be held at St. Alphonsus Liguori Church in Zionsville on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 7:00pm. Following the mass there will be a presentation of a roses to the families of deceased members. Chalices and chalice plaques will be presented in the names of Father Bennett and Peter Gavin.

After the presentations, all are invited to attend a dinner served in Weitzel Hall.

Plan to attend the Memorial Mass as we pray together to honor our deceased Sir Knights.
