The Master has scheduled in an Exemplification next month in Chesterton, Indiana on November 19th.   Chesterton is up in the region, but it is a one-day event.

The ceremony begins at 12:30 p.m. and is followed by a mass at 4 p.m. then dinner at 5:45.

The deadline for registration is November 5th, so if you know of a 3rd Degree Knight who is ready to take that next step please let our Faithful Navigator know so we can get his Form 4 approved in time.

To All Sir Knights, You and your spouse, or significant other, are cordially invited to attend the Assembly’s Memorial Mass to honor our deceased Sir Knights. This year we are teaming up with Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Council #12510.

Mass will be held at St. Alphonsus Liguori Church in Zionsville on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 7:00pm. Following the mass there will be a presentation of a roses to the families of deceased members. Chalices and chalice plaques will be presented in the names of Father Bennett and Peter Gavin.

After the presentations, all are invited to attend a dinner served in Weitzel Hall.

Plan to attend the Memorial Mass as we pray together to honor our deceased Sir Knights.

We are honored to welcome five new Sir Knights to our ranks. They completed their 4th Degree Exemplification ceremony last weekend in Huntington, Indiana.

The next Exemplification will be held in Huntington, Indiana on September 24, 2011.   Huntington is about 1 1/2 hours north of Indianapolis, just off I-69.

This is a ONE DAY Event, with registration starting at 9 a.m. and concluding with dinner at 5 p.m.

If you know of fellow 3rd Degree Knights who are looking to take the next step and join the Patriotic Degree, this is your chance.

Details for our installation mass are falling into place.  It will be held this Thursday at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

I am looking for a volunteer to be our lector.  If you’re interested please send me an email, and I’ll make sure you have a copy of the reading.

Also, to help get a feel for how many refreshments we need, if you are planning on attending please email us to let us know so we don’t over order or run out of food.

Master SK Dale Hegar will be in attendance to preform the installation service.  Sir Knights are requested to wear their regalia or tux and social baldric.

This is a family event, and to help instill that atmosphere, I have requested that Sir Knights break ranks and sit with their families during Mass.

It’s been a couple of years since we’ve held a installation service, so it would mean a great deal to your fellow officers to have a great turnout.
